NL Gear Nylon Sleeve Coupling Is Used For Water Pumps, Fans And Reducers
The NL gear type nylon sleeve coupling is composed of a steel outer gear hub and a nylon inner gear sleeve. Torque is transmitted through the meshing of internal and external teeth, while the elasticity of nylon material is utilized to compensate for axial, radial and angular deviations.
According to the mechanical industry standard JB/T 5514-2022, its rated torque range is usually from 10 N·m to 8000 N·m, and it is suitable for working conditions with a rotational speed not exceeding 4000 rpm. Compared with all-metal couplings, the flexible design of nylon internal teeth can reduce the vibration and noise of the transmission system, decrease the frequency of maintenance and extend the service life of the equipment. It is commonly used in equipment such as water pumps, fans and reducers, and performs particularly well in damp and dusty environments.
Product Features
1. Super load-bearing capacity
The upper limit of torque transmission is 8000Nm, and the impact resistance is enhanced by 40%.
2. Long-lasting wear resistance
The wear rate of the self-lubricating nylon gear sleeve is ≤0.1mm per thousand hours, and its service life is over 30,000 hours .
3. Precise compensation
Compensate for radial deviation ≤1.1mm + angular deviation ≤1° axial deviation ±1mm, reducing installation alignment cost by 50%.
4. Zero-maintenance operation
The dry meshing structure requires no lubrication for life, with an IP55 protection rating (dust spray resistance/low-pressure water resistance), making it suitable for highly polluted environments such as mines and ports.
5. Low cost
Only the nylon gear sleeve needs to be replaced after wear, and the metal parts are 100% reused , reducing maintenance costs by 60% directly.
6. Vibration suppression
The backlash preloading design absorbs ≥15% of the vibration energy of the equipment, protecting the bearings/gearboxes and extending the service life of downstream equipment.
7. Extreme working condition adaptation
stable operation throughout the full temperature range from -40℃ to +120℃ (nylon resistant to brittle cracking at low temperatures and creep at high temperatures), with a humidity tolerance of 100%.
